Canonsburg VFD responded to a reported " smell of natural gas", at approximately 11:00 AM on Sunday morning, 12-11-2011, 120 Greenside Avenue, the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Chief Tim Solobay responded with a crew of six (6) in Engine 693.

After investigation with fire department meters, the gas company was called.

Further investigation determined that there was a problem with the church furnaces.  Repairs are planned.
